Matched Lithium Drivetrain
A 73.6V / 105Ah lithium pack built specifically for our cart and controller. Stable voltage under load means the cart still climbs on the last bar of charge.
Lithium-powered electric golf carts engineered for golf courses, resorts, communities and work sites — with the torque, comfort and build quality fleets can count on.
Kodiak Electric Vehicles designs, assembles and supports premium electric golf carts from our facility at 225 Aviation Dr., Thomaston, Georgia. Every unit is specified around three real-world questions our dealers hear daily: how far will it go, how well does it climb, and how long will it last?
The answer is a purpose-matched drivetrain. Instead of bolting generic components together, we pair a 73.6V lithium pack with a Navitas AC controller and motor calibrated for that exact pack — so hill-climb torque, top speed and usable range stay consistent as the battery discharges. Hydraulic four-wheel disc brakes handle the extra capability, and a corrosion-resistant body in 8–10 colours keeps the vehicle looking new after seasons of sun, sand and rain.
Most carts on the market share the same off-the-shelf parts bin. Kodiak specifies the drivetrain as a matched system, which is what produces repeatable range figures and lower long-term cost of ownership for fleet operators.

TAC2 440A and 600A Navitas controllers with regenerative braking, programmable speed limits and diagnostics your technician can actually read.
Four-wheel hydraulic discs replace drum brakes for shorter stops with a full load of passengers, clubs or cargo — including on wet, sloped cart paths.
A full 5-year vehicle warranty on the MX and 8-year lithium ECO battery coverage on Apex and Defender, backed by parts programmes and dealer training.
The MX is our best-selling platform for private owners and club fleets that want lithium performance without compromise. Long-wheelbase versions seat four forward or four plus two rear-facing, making it equally at home on 18 holes or a gated community commute.
Specified for hunting leases, ranches, campgrounds and job sites where a standard cart runs out of capability. The Defender pairs an upgraded 5kW AC motor with a 600-amp Navitas controller for sustained hill climbing with six adults aboard.
The Apex is the shuttle answer for resorts, wedding venues, retirement communities and corporate campuses: a stretched chassis, refined ride quality and enough presence to carry a brand wrap with pride.
Fleet buyers rarely need “a golf cart” — they need a vehicle spec that matches a duty cycle. Share your daily mileage, terrain grade and passenger count with our team and we will recommend the model, seating layout and accessory package that fits.
Quiet AC drive, turf-friendly tyres and predictable 36-hole range per charge, with fleet charging layouts and club branding options.
Apex 6PR shuttles for guest transfers, luggage runs and property tours — with lighting packages for after-dark operation.
Street-ready equipment packages for cart-path communities, including lights, mirrors, horn, seat belts and windshields.
Defender platforms with lift, all-terrain tyres and cargo beds for farms, hunting properties, campgrounds and maintenance crews.
Why settle for less when you can have the best? Unmatched customisation, matched lithium performance and a dealer network that stands behind every serial number. Take control of your journey with a cart that is as unique as you are.
Kodiak models running the 73.6V lithium pack typically deliver 35–50 miles of mixed-terrain range per charge. Range depends on payload, terrain grade, tyre selection and average speed — fleet operators on flat cart paths regularly see the upper end of that window, while lifted Defender units on hills sit nearer the lower end.
The Kodiak MX carries a full 5-year vehicle warranty, and the lithium ECO battery packs fitted to Apex and Defender models are covered for 8 years. Registration steps, coverage limits and claim procedures are documented on our warranty page so buyers can review terms before ordering.
Yes. Bodies are offered in 8–10 standard colours plus custom paint, and carts can be specified in 2, 4 or 6 passenger layouts with cargo beds, rear-seat kits, lighting packages, sound systems, lift kits and wheel/tyre upgrades. Branded fleet programmes are supported through our authorised dealers.
Lithium wins on total cost of ownership for almost every commercial duty cycle: no watering or terminal maintenance, roughly half the weight, faster charging, partial-charge tolerance and stable voltage until the pack is nearly empty. Lead-acid still has a lower entry price, which is why we offer a maintenance-free lithium ECO option alongside conventional packs.
